**PEACE IN CHAOS**

Currently, the world presents a challenging environment, and we find ourselves with no alternative. Various forms of chaos have become a constant presence, impacting unity and compassion among individuals.

Peace is now scarce in families, among colleagues, and between spouses, though not intentionally but due to needs not being met, heavy responsibilities, challenges, and crises. Many have forgotten how to smile, sleep, and care for others. A songwriter said in his lyrics 

"How are you, my friend?

How do you do, my friend?

I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you

That one na lie, I dey for you my friend"

In recent times, maintaining contact with others has become challenging, not due to a lack of concern for them, but rather because you're struggling to navigate through the turbulence of this chaotic period yourself. The END TIME is now and God said all this will happen as signs but the question is how do we get our peace in this perilous time? Honestly speaking I don't even have the answers myself but I like to believe in what God says we should do because by our own strength, we can't figure this out at all.

John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16 – “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.

According to the two scriptures, the only way here is to fix our mind to the ultimate price which is PEACE OF MIND IN CHAOS WITH GOD ALMIGHTY.

Man can't give us PEACE, if the president chooses to provide us with more money for palliative it will only help for the time being but will solve nothing as things will still keep going high and the money won't solve our needs at all.

Psalm 29:11 – “May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!”

 Only God can make a way in the wilderness (place of chaos) and where others are cast down we are lifted up, PEACE of God passes all human understanding and knows no bounds.

Isaiah 9:6 – “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

John 16:33 – “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

According to (John 16:33) chaos started from the moment we allowed the devil to blind us to God's promises for us. These promises ain't for everyone but for his own children whose father isn't the devil but God Almighty himself and He alone can make us stars like He did for Joseph and Abraham and his son in a strange land where there was starvation they stayed and milk the land.

 

Here are some promises of God to give His children PEACE IN CHAOS;

Romans 15:13 – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

 

Jeremiah 29:11 – “ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

1 Peter 5:10 – “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

Psalm 3:3-6 – “But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord,and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah. I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.”

N.B.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" This is why we are not partakers of God's promises. Myself and many others are not having this peace we ought to because we think we are doing what's right but we are far from what God says we should do;

Proverbs 16:1-end talks a lot about His ways and you can read it but I wanna fix your eyes on verse 2 "All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord."

Your ways are not His ways, commit all your planning and steps to him today.
