WHO SAYS YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN?

***WHO SAYS YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN?***

To be a Christian goes a long way, just because you don't miss bible studies or because you pray a lot or because you evangelize a lot does not make you an heavenly surety but yes, it make a heavenly candidate.

The foundation of Christianity is FAITH, not the works you do for Christ. The Works you do for Christ will bring about the blessings and rewards you get here on earth but FAITH is what guarantees you heaven.

There are a lot of stuffs in this world to make even the strongest Christian among us doubt our FAITH in God;

When I lost my brother last year I was just devastated because at the beginning of that year I made a pledge to God to keep myself and my family safe but middle of that same year I lost a member of my family and my FAITH for God was questioned; knowing that he was my mum's favorite I was so sure she was not going to make it but some how God helped my family heal in a way I cannot explain. I kept my FAITH not because I was the strongest person in FAITH but because of the peace God gave my family, especially my mum and that made my FAITH stand.

Are you a Christian with plenty FAITH in Christ just because all is going on so well...? What happens if life is not fair to you? Will you still be a Christian if all you try is still not working but others with no FAITH are getting it so easy?

Many times we blame God for our misfortune but fail to realize that our guilt is what's holding us back, we think for God by saying 'I know my sins are so great that I deserve what I'm facing now, so its fine, let me be punished for my sin'; that's a lie from the devil.

John 3:16
New International Version
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

All you need do is believe in God and do not give room for self doubts for He says in His word
"Matthew 11:28-29
King James Version
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

Guess what... it's not our work to worry for God if we are putting too much work load on Him or not, “Our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think” — Ephesians 3:20.

Your issues are not too great for God to handle, do not be a Christian only when things are great but also when they are not;

Psalm 55:22
New International Version
"Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken"
