***FALSE FRIENDS*** 

Who is a FRIEND?

** A person you know well and like a lot, most times are usually not a member of your family and sometimes they are. 

** Someone who is not an enemy and who you can trust 

** Someone you can rely on at all times. 

A friend can also be your parent, partner, spouse, siblings, members of an organization. 

** A friend is also a playmate or gist partner. 

** Someone who will never hurt you but care for you at all times. 

** Someone who watches out for you and sometimes puts your safety and well-being in their mind 24/7 like their life also depends on it. 

***WHO ARE FALSE FRIENDS?*** 

The word FALSE is negative in nature and this really gives the word friend a negative/opposite meaning when attached to it.  False friends simply means, friends whose intentions are evil towards you and are harmful to you. 

Enemies are easy to spot but false friends are very difficult to spot because you carry an impression in your mind and heart that they are trustworthy and have your best interest at heart which is contrary to their intentions towards you. 

Betrayal is common among friends; siblings betraying each other because of parents will or envy each other for one thing or the other. Friends go out in secret with each other's wives and stay friends deceiving one another. 

In your place of success and greatness (place of work, school, etc) you will find lots of fake and false friends who became one through envy. They can kill you mentally, spiritually, materially, career wise, even physically.

***A true life story (with a twist)*** 

A young man picked his most trusted childhood friend from the same tribe as his best man for his wedding. It was a glorious wedding and lots of gifts were distributed. This friend of his did far more than what any real member of the grooms family would have done in terms of work and stress at this wedding. 

The groom was so pleased with his friend and his love for him grew. No one can separate them and it was as if they were twins from above and not even the wife can separate them. 

The couples were blessed with three children coupled with great wealth in 15 years. The kids attended the best schools in Canada and the family also owned a business in Canada with this close friend. They all lived peacefully together. 

One day the wife planted a camera in the bedroom to prank the husband on his birthday, it really worked and they laughed about it. The couples were so in love with each other and not a day passed by that they stopped dating each other even with the fact that they have been married for 15 years. 

The man also taught of pranking his wife a day before valentine's day and planted his own camera just before he went for a day trip.

This young man came back with much gift for his family and his friend but he had first stopped in his friend's apartment to drop off the gift then he came home to watch the piece in the camera to see what the prank has done to his wife while he was away; this young man was the one who fell for his own prank this time around because of what he saw in the camera. 

He called his wife and friend over to his house after a month and told them to come for a movie in his own home just them three and that day came when the three were home all to themselves and he played the recording in the camera, it was a recording of his wife and best friend of many years having sex with each other coupled with lots of conversations. 

Years before they got married or even met each other, his friend had dated the lady while he was away for two years in Canada 🇨🇦 and the friend was in Nigeria but they broke it off when he helped the friend come join him in Canada 🇨🇦  A year later, somehow the lady came to the country and they met and fell in love for months and this friend was happy a lady makes his friend happy, he then showed his girlfriend to his friend and they recognised each other but chose not to say anything. After the marriage feelings between the wife and husband's friend came back and secretly they dated each other and the second and third child was from him and not the husband. 

N.B.

Am not going to details of what happened afterwards but this happened in a relationship of friendship. Betrayal happens among friends. 

***HOW DO WE AVOID BETRAYAL ?*** 

Is it really possible to avoid betrayal? I personally don't think it is because humans will always be human and some people might willingly harm you while others might not intentionally hurt you. 

All l'm going to say is in any relationship, give room for stuffs like this so you can have a space in your heart to forgive and also not to feel too hurt. Do not trust human 100% but do give a room for trust in them and do not be too open 100% to human for its like you gave them your heart physically to keep for you. They might have a good heart not to harm you but what will happen when they are left with no choice and have to pick between you and them...?

N.B. 

Put all of your trust in God only and not in human for we humans will always put ourselves over anyone which is not a bad thing and some of us can put others before ourselves but is this something you want to put to test???
