***FAITH or TRUST*** 

What is Trust? 

Firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. 

What is Faith? 

1. Complete trust or confidence in someone or something. 

2. Strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than truth. 

Faith means so many things and everyday we use faith we just don't know it at that time. The Bible says that faith is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the Lord is working even when we cannot see it. 

Faith knows that no matter what the situation in our lives or someone else’s, that the Lord is working in it. 

  Hebrews 11 King James Version 

"1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." 

Many confuse FAITH for TRUST; 

TRUST To have trust in someone simply means having a strong belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of the individual, while FAITH is a feeling, conviction, or belief that something is true or real, assent that is not contingent upon reason or justification. 

FAITH is a belief in something, usually in things that you're not fully assured of. You might have faith that a rope will hold your weight, but you don’t know that for sure until you try it. Often, people have faith in things that cannot possibly be known or verified, such as faith in some divine being. 

* We enter plains, buses, bikes etc putting our lives at the hand of the human who is controlling the carrier to get us to the destination. 

* We eat our parents/Spouses food without praying first most time, because we have faith in them. 

* We allow ourselves to jump blindly because we have faith in who will catch us. 

TRUST is simply a fact. It’s something that can be proven, examined and confirmed. Trust doesn’t depend on whether you believe in it or not. It simply is. For example, an individual who dupes people of their possession or belongings might call you, pretending to be what he's not. Tries to scam you of some money. You might put your faith in him and believe that he is telling you the truth, but the truth is he is a crook. 

* Is it true that one can be redirected and kidnapped by the pilot/driver/rider or worst have an accident?? Yes 

* Is it true that one's parent/spouses can harm us with their meal??? Yes 

* Is it true that the person we have hope/faith to catch us when we jump blindfolded can choose not to catch us??? Yes. 

Then why is it hard for us human to have faith in God who will do what is best for us, but will have faith in human who will save themselves first??? I will like for us to pounder on that and appropriately put trust in human while faith in God only. 

N.B. 

My opinion for us is to trust our loved ones to help and be there for us. They have shown us they can do that, but only have Faith in God Almighty for things we never see but must do. Don't just trust your loved ones, but add prayer to God to help them do it. 

Do not put your hope and faith on human cos EVERY MAN FOR THEMSELVES WHEN IT COMES TO POWER OF CHOICE BETWEEN TWO THINGS.
