DARKNESS OR LIGHT...?

Darkness fuels the fear, while Light fuels the love.
"Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind."
Love a person by their personalities not appearances.

What is Darkness?
This is as polar to brightness, it is understood to be an absence of vusible light. It is also the appearance of black in a cloured space, The state of being dark. Related words are obscurity and evil.

The bible also talks of darkness;
Proverbs  4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

1 Thessalonians  5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Matthew  6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

What is light?
Light is something that makes vision possible.
John  1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

I want to share a story, this story amongst others helped me and I hope it will help you too.

This is a story between three men, Mr. A is a civilian, Mr. B is also a civilian, and Mr. C is a ranking military man.
The three men were on a bus full of pasangers and amongst these men, only the Mr. C is sitting down while others are on standing.

The driver was driving rough and because of that Mr. B stepped on Mr. A, before Mr. B would say anything Mr. A slapped him 3 times and each preceeding slaps gets heavier;

Mr. A: you fool stepped on me so hard, you de crazy or something cos i kmow you must be very very mad.

Mr. B: am so sorry, please forgive me as it was a mistake.

(Mr. A slaps Mr. B again)
Mr. A: what do you mean you are sorry? Are you sick or something? You are speaking in the nonsense you foolish old man.

Mr. B: Sir, I am really sorry for my mistake and please if my sorry won't be enough do step on my foot if it will make you feel less angry sir.

(Mr. A stepped 3 times on Mr. B's foot until the old man cried out loud)
Mr. A: idiot old man

Mr. B: thank you sir (while still crying) and I am really sorry for stepping on you sir.

(Mr. C a military man hidden in sight got angry)

Mr. C: Driver stop this bus, I saw all that happened here and you driver despite the fact that you caused all these, you still didn't intervene.

Mr. A: Mr. C can you imagine how hard this old man stepped on me?

Mr. C: Mr. A would you shut up and let me speak! Mr. B come here.

Mr. B: yes sir, I am really sorry and I had apologised.

Mr. C: yes I know, but I want you to go to Mr. A and the driver and give them both 10 slaps each plus you won't be paying for this bus today.

Mr. B: thank you sir, but I can't do any  of that.

Mr. C: why is that... don't you have hands because am seeing both hands are healthy?

Mr. B: I do have hands sir, but they have a different use. Since I gave my life to God and repented from sin, I can't be taking on revange for myself for revange is for God. I can't pay evil with evil sir.

This Mr. B's speech melted the heart of every person on that bus that day. The soldier was the person sharing this story because that day lots of people repented including the soldier.
Mr. A cried that day and repented and apologised, the soldier is now a pastor. Mr. B didn't even preach the gospel, but his character did preach Christ to the people.

All darkness does is to limit man. Darkeness is doing the wrong thing and feeling like you are doing the right thing.
*Darkness is preying on the innocents
*Darkness is having resources to help but you are not
*Darkness is bossing people around because you can
*Darkness is you not showing love to others
*Darkness makes you only see evil in people only

Light is the opposite of Darkness
*Light is knowing people are wicked, but still see the good in them.
*Light us helping the needy
*Light is showing love
*Light is shinning you own light in other people's darkness just like how Mr. B did on the bus
*Light is knowing people are beneath you and still show equal rights with them.

How do you remove darkness from you?
*Move with the people who exhibits the light, because it takes light to recognise light
*Aspiring to become members of the light
*Seek nothing but light.

N.B. Darkness fuels hatred in human and makes you only see the worst in people, while Light knows how evil the world is but chooses to light it's way through, because a tiny light (Love) can spread fast if fueled well.
