LOVE

***LOVE***

The definition of love is a feeling of deep affection, passion or strong liking for a person or thing.

LOVE is many things to different kind of applications (human, things etc) and it's always positive and never negative so it's not optional but compulsory.

Another word related to love, "lubere" or "libere," comes to us from the Romans. This Latin word means 'to please'.

My best definition of LOVE is this, and this is not because it's from the bible. It is because I have read many books on this, but non meets this;

1 Corinthians 13:4-6
New International Version
(4) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
(5) It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
(6) Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.

My cue of love aside being biblical about it is from a late beautiful song writer MICHAEL JACKSON's song "We Are The World"

Theis song is so long but with great and touching lyrics that melted the heart of men.
In all words related to the word love, roots relating to dear, pleasing, and cherished may be found, hinting at the deeper transcendent meaning of the modern word.

Am not trying to go all biblical about the word love but (1 Corinthians 13:4-6) talks more better than any other places I have come across this word LOVE. Seeing the people you know or do not know and helping them is LOVE, helping somebody just to prove a point to people around you so to make you look great isn't LOVE, LOVE is an obligation and duty to the humanity.

If the leaders have just a little amount of LOVE for humanity, leading won't be an issue because you will put yourself in others shoes and see how it will be. The Presidents, Governors, Bosses, Fathers etc down to children we all have a roll to play in healing this world we are in with LOVE. Don't get me started with some organizations in Nigeria like PHCN, reasons why a PHCN officer who is also a human being will sit down somewhere in his/her office and wait till 12am just to put off the light knowing fully well that there is great heat is just alerming to the fact that LOVE is absent in many places, or lecturers that are also fathers will ask another man's child to have sex with them if not they fail, or Government charging citizens more than anything even same amount to the rich and the poor, the church is supposed to be a place of LOVE but instead envious feelings everywhere and the members and pastorate pass around amongst themselves envious feelings.

Even a new born baby can sense the gravity of this hatred towards one another which is not what our heavenly father GOD ALMIGHTY stands for. GOD is LOVE, LOVE is GOD; share you LOVE today and don't look down on people below your standards. We should stop keeping standards and see ourselves as been equal because no one is greater than the other for that fellow you think you are ahead can become your boss tomorrow, what do you have to say then...?

Helping people has a great cost sometimes because some fellows you helped might use it to wrong you more than 100 times but remember (1 Corinthians 13:4-6) verse 5 says "it keeps no record of wrongs." Learn to forgive and spoil them with more LOVE and apply positive wisdom in all you do for we all have fallen short of God's grace and mercy but still He gives it to us freely.
